Wiesbaden, Germany, June 5th, 2026 - Indie developer Novemtails and publisher Assemble Entertainment have unveiled Under Canopies, a cozy first-person survival game where you must build a peaceful life within a tranquil forest sanctuary and learn to live alongside nature, rather than conquer it. This unique adventure removes combat entirely and replaces it with a calmer, more reflective experience centered around crafting, exploration, wildlife photography, farming, and personal expression. Just revealed during the Latin American Games Showcase.

"Under Canopies started as a personal project and slowly evolved into something much bigger," said Roberto Ortiz, solo developer at Novemtails. "Your main incentive is not to 'win' through combat, but to gradually build a more complete, cozy, and meaningful life in the forest."

Escape to paradise and discover a handcrafted forest world filled with rivers, mountains, flower fields, hidden spaces, and wildlife. By discovering forgotten places within nature, the world begins to feel like a sanctuary: a peaceful environment where you can slow down, settle in, and form a relationship with the land.
